Ephemeral P2P WebRTC video rooms — create a pond, share the link, talk.

VerifiedStreamable HTTPWeb executableCommunication & Collaboration

Overview

AI-generated overview

Lets an assistant create ephemeral P2P WebRTC video rooms, look up room details, and post encrypted AI messages into a room.

What you can do
Four tools: create_pond creates a new Pondchat room (pond) for video, audio and chat and returns the room URL and WebSocket endpoint; get_room_info returns a room's URL, WebSocket endpoint and capacity; send_message posts text into a room, which the server encrypts with the room key and broadcasts to admitted participants as an AI message; list_rooms lists recent rooms but, since rooms are ephemeral and not tracked server-side, always returns an empty list with guidance.
When to use it
Use it when an assistant should quickly spin up a throwaway video or audio room and share the link with participants, or post a short-lived AI message into a live room. Not suited to keeping message history or looking up existing rooms.
Requirements
Connects as a remote endpoint; no local package install. The input declares no environment variables, headers or authentication. Network access to the remote service is needed.
Before you install
send_message sends text into a room and broadcasts it to participants, so it publishes content outward; although messages are said to be encrypted server-side with the room key and never stored, they still go to a third-party service and room participants, so avoid secrets. Rooms are ephemeral and list_rooms cannot recover them. The input shows no payment or key requirements.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Pondchat in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.pondchat%2Fpondchat/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

75% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
