Overview

AI-generated overview

Lets an assistant search and compare startup credits, programs and perks, and build a sourced review of which ones fit a company.

What it does
Programscape exposes a catalog of startup credits, programs and perks from providers such as cloud, AI and payments vendors. Tools include search_programs, get_program, compare_programs, whats_changed, profile_questions and build_route, which returns a review of programs worth a founder's time with their standing and open questions. Plan tools (save_plan_draft, my_plan, update_my_plan) store answers and choices, and partner tools cover venture-firm perks and partner admin review. Records carry official sources and last-checked dates.
When to use it
Useful when a founder or team wants to find, compare or track startup credit and discount programs across providers, or to keep a saved plan of which programs to pursue. Searching, comparing and building a review need no account; plan and partner features require signing in.
Requirements
A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint at programscape.com; no local package or runtime. No account is needed for search, comparison and review tools. Plan tools require a one-time sign-in with Google or an email code, using OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration and PKCE. No environment variables or headers are declared.
Before you install
Plan tools read and write a saved plan tied to your account, and the assistant is described as asking before each save; partner admin tools expose a partner's perks list. The server receives the answers passed to a tool, not the conversation. It does not confirm eligibility, sum amounts, or pick a winning provider, so figures are each program's own and often conditional.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Programscape in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

README

Programscape MCP server

Ask your AI assistant which startup credits, programs and perks fit your company, answered from checked records with official sources.

Server URL: https://programscape.com/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP)

Programscape is an independent map of startup credits, programs and perks: cloud and AI credits, accelerator programs and product discounts from AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, OpenAI, Anthropic, NVIDIA, Stripe and more. Every record carries its official source and the date it was last checked. Providers can't pay for placement.

This repository holds no server code. Programscape runs the server; this page explains how to connect to it.

Connect

Claude

Find Programscape in Claude's connector directory and add it, or add it yourself: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, with the URL https://programscape.com/api/mcp.

More, with questions to try: programscape.com/claude.

Claude Code

bash
claude mcp add --transport http programscape https://programscape.com/api/mcp

VS Code

In .vscode/mcp.json:

json
{  "servers": {    "programscape": { "type": "http", "url": "https://programscape.com/api/mcp" }  }}

Cursor

In ~/.cursor/mcp.json:

json
{  "mcpServers": {    "programscape": { "url": "https://programscape.com/api/mcp" }  }}

The server follows the standard protocol, so other MCP clients can connect too. Claude is the client we test.

Sign-in

Searching, comparing and building a review need no account. The first time a plan tool is used, your assistant asks you to sign in to Programscape once, with Google or a one-time email code. There's no password. Sign-in is OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration and PKCE. You can disconnect an assistant from Your plan on programscape.com.

What it never does

  • Say you qualify for a program. The provider decides.
  • Add amounts into a total. Each figure is that program's own, often an "up to" maximum with conditions.
  • Pick a winning provider.

Privacy and support

Programscape is made by Forgotten Things Labs LLC.
