Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server for searching and calling 422 official public-data APIs, such as elections, campaign finance, courts, permits and SEC filings.

What you can do
  • Search the catalog of public-data APIs by keyword and see what each covers and its price per record
  • Inspect one API's input parameters, coverage and pricing
  • Run an API with parameters and get JSON records back, 25 by default and up to 500 per call
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs official public records or market data — campaign contributions, restaurant inspections, court cases, SEC filings — without building separate integrations for each source.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at api.pushbuild.com; no local runtime or declared environment variables. A free Pushbuild account sign-in on first call, or an API key sent from the Pushbuild app page.
Before you install
Calls are billed per record returned, drawn from a free monthly allowance and then prepaid credit, so large maxItems values can cost money. The first call asks you to sign in or supply an API key. Returned data comes via Pushbuild as an intermediary.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Pushbuild Data APIs in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.pushbuild%2Fdata-apis/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
