Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server for prayer times, masjids, iqamah and Jumu'ah times, halal food and khutbahs in US, Canada and Mexico cities.

What you can do
  • Look up cities, counties and metros by name, with counts of masjids and halal places
  • Get the five daily prayer times and sunrise for a city on a date, in the city's time zone
  • Get Friday prayer times and today's posted iqamah times at a city's masjids
  • Find masjids with addresses, and halal restaurants, markets and butchers with today's hours and open status
  • Check whether a restaurant chain is halal, and read recent Friday khutbahs by topic or city
  • Get suhoor and iftar times for every day of Ramadan 2027 in a city
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs to answer questions about Islamic prayer schedules, nearby masjids, halal dining or khutbahs for places in the US, Canada or Mexico, or to plan around Ramadan 2027.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at qadir.com; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. The server states that no authentication is declared.
Before you install
Prayer times are computed with the ISNA method and standard Asr, so a masjid's own iqamah times may differ; masjids without a current board are counted rather than estimated. The server asks assistants to cite the URL each answer returns.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Qadir in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.qadir%2Fqadir/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
