Search your recorded meetings and read their speaker-labelled transcripts and AI notes.
Overview
Hosted MCP server that lets an assistant search your Record Meeting recordings and read speaker-labelled transcripts and AI meeting notes.
- What you can do
- Browse, search and filter personal or team recordings, including by title or by date range in your time zone
- Read a recording's details, AI notes, participants and sharing state, plus its speaker-labelled transcript page by page
- Rename a recording or replace its notes
- Read, create or rotate a recording's public share link
- List the teams you belong to, their workspace folders and their members
- When to use it
- Useful when you want an assistant to answer questions from your own meeting history, such as what a team decided, who owns an action item, or what a customer asked for, without pasting transcripts by hand.
- Requirements
- A remote endpoint at api.recordmeeting.com over Streamable HTTP; nothing to install. Sign-in is OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration and a browser consent step. Clients without OAuth support can send a Record Meeting API key as an Authorization Bearer header. Only recordings your account can open are reachable.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Record Meeting in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.recordmeeting%2Frecordmeeting/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

Record Meeting MCP server
Record Meeting records your Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and other online meetings, transcribes them with speaker names and writes AI meeting notes. Its hosted MCP server lets your AI assistant work with those recordings: ask what a team decided, who owns which action item, or what a customer asked for, and the assistant finds the right meeting and answers from its notes and transcript.
Server URL: https://api.recordmeeting.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration)
There is nothing to install or run. Point your client at the URL, sign in to Record Meeting in the browser window that opens, and approve the scopes on the consent page. You can revoke access at any time in Record Meeting under Settings, Connected agents.
Tools
The server only reaches the recordings your Record Meeting account can open. It does not start recordings: you record with the Record Meeting Chrome extension, the Google Meet add-on or the web app.
Connect
Claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Cowork: install it from the Claude connectors directory, or add a custom connector with the server URL.
ChatGPT: search for Record Meeting in the ChatGPT apps directory, or add the server URL as a connector in developer mode.
Claude Code
Or install this repository as a plugin:
Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and other clients that read mcp.json
Gemini CLI
Codex: add to ~/.codex/config.toml
Clients without OAuth support can send a Record Meeting API key instead, as Authorization: Bearer sk_rm_.... Create one at recordmeeting.com/app/settings, in the API keys section.
Step-by-step setup for every client: recordmeeting.com/agent-setup.
Example prompts
- What did we decide about pricing in last week's product sync?
- What are the next steps from my call with Harbor Logistics?
- Which meetings did I record yesterday?
- Show me the transcript of the Sprint 42 planning meeting.
- Create a share link for the weekly product sync recording.
About this repository
This repository holds the client manifests for the hosted server: server.json for the official MCP Registry, .claude-plugin/ for Claude Code, .cursor-plugin/ and mcp.json for Cursor, and gemini-extension.json for Gemini CLI. The server itself runs at api.recordmeeting.com and is not part of this repository.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
