Remote Rendlet PDF server that lets an assistant turn HTML or invoice/itinerary data into PDFs, with free previews and pricing lookup.
What you can do
Inspect the service: list capabilities, input modes, page sizes and per-plan limits, and fetch pricing, plans, credit packs and per-tool costs.
Preview documents: render a watermarked, low-resolution one-page preview of HTML or the built-in sample invoice before paying.
Generate PDFs from HTML: produce full-quality PDFs with page format, orientation, margin and filename options.
Render templates: build invoice or travel itinerary PDFs from structured JSON data without writing HTML.
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs to deliver documents as PDFs — reports, receipts, letters, invoices or itineraries — without local rendering tools, and when you want to check output or cost before committing to a paid plan.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint at rendlet.com; no local runtime or packages. A bearer API key is required in the Authorization header; a free key is available at signup, and the literal value 'Bearer sandbox' gives a watermarked trial. Network access to rendlet.com is needed.
Before you install
The Authorization header carries a secret API key. Paid plans and prepaid credit packs are sold through Stripe links, and there is a USDC-on-Base purchase endpoint, so the assistant can surface payment paths. Rendering runs with JavaScript disabled and only loads data: URIs and public https assets, so private or script-driven pages will not render as expected.
Connect Authorization token credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.rendlet%2Fpdf/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Use first to learn what Rendlet can render and which tools are free. Inputs: none. Output: JSON listing tools, input modes (HTML, built-in invoice/itinerary templates), page sizes, limits per plan, auth method and links. Cost: free, no key.
Takes no parameters.
get_pricing
Get Rendlet pricing and how to buy
Use when the user asks about price, hits a quota, or needs more documents. Inputs: none. Output: JSON with the free key, monthly plans with Stripe links, prepaid credit packs with Stripe Payment Links, the USDC-on-Base purchase endpoint and steps, and the cost of each tool. Cost: free, no key.
Takes no parameters.
preview_pdf
Free watermarked PDF preview
Use to show what a document will look like before paying or signing up. Inputs: optional "html" (string, up to 50 KB; omit to preview the built-in sample invoice). Output: a 1-page low-resolution, PREVIEW-watermarked PDF (rasterized first A4 page) as an embedded base64 resource. Not for production use. Cost: free, no key, 3 previews per IP per day.
Parametershtml
html_to_pdf
HTML to PDF
Use to produce a real, full-quality PDF from HTML (reports, receipts, letters). Inputs: "html" (required), "format" (A4|Letter|Legal|A3|A5), "landscape", "margin" (CSS length), "filename". Rendered by headless Chromium with JavaScript disabled; only data: URIs and public https assets load; Chinese text supported. Output: the PDF as an embedded base64 resource plus pages, bytes and remaining quota. Requires "Authorization: Bearer <key>" (or "sandbox" for a watermarked 1-page trial, 5/day). Without a usable key it returns a 402 payment_required result with buy links. Cost: 1 document from your monthly plan (free key: 100/month), or 1 prepaid credit after the cap.
Use when you have structured data for an invoice or travel itinerary and want a clean PDF without writing HTML. Inputs: "template" ("invoice": seller, buyer, items, tax_rate, currency; "itinerary": trip, days), "data" (object; full examples at GET https://rendlet.com/v1/templates), "filename". Output: the PDF as an embedded base64 resource plus pages and remaining quota. Same auth and 402 behaviour as html_to_pdf. Cost: 1 document from your monthly plan, or 1 prepaid credit after the cap.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
