Track domain and SSL certificate expiry for your agency clients from any MCP client.

Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted RenewRoster MCP server that lets an assistant track domain and SSL certificate expiry, clients, alerts and renewal reports for agency portfolios.

What you can do
  • List and inspect tracked domains and SSL hosts, including what expires within a set number of days, filters, check history and client counts
  • Run live lookups of any domain via RDAP/WHOIS, a host's TLS certificate, or Certificate Transparency logs without saving them
  • Add domains, SSL hosts and clients, re-check an asset now, bulk import up to 1000 assets, and update or delete assets
  • Manage alert channels (email, Slack, Discord, webhook), reminders and webhooks, including sending a test alert
  • Read agency plan and usage, team members, and monthly renewal reports
When to use it
Useful for agencies or teams that manage many client domains and certificates and want to ask an assistant what is expiring soon, add or bulk-import assets, and adjust reminders and alerts without opening the dashboard.
Requirements
A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; nothing to install. A RenewRoster account (free sign-up available) and an API key created in the dashboard API tab, sent as an Authorization bearer header. Write tools need a read + write key. Rate limits apply per plan.
Before you install
The API key is a password-like secret (rr_live_...) sent in the Authorization header; store it securely. Write tools change data: adding, importing, updating and deleting assets, clients, alert channels, reminders and webhooks; delete tools are marked destructive and clients should confirm. Test alerts send real messages. Billing, member invites, API key management and agency deletion are dashboard-only.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open RenewRoster in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect Authorization token credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.renewroster%2Frenewroster/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

RenewRoster MCP Server

Official Model Context Protocol server for RenewRoster, the domain and SSL certificate expiry tracker for agencies. Ask your AI assistant what is expiring, add domains and SSL hosts, re-check assets, manage clients, alerts, reminders and webhooks, and pull monthly renewal reports.

This is a hosted remote server: nothing to install or run. This repository holds documentation and registry metadata only.

Get an API key

  1. Sign in at https://app.renewroster.com (free sign-up available).
  2. Open the API tab in your dashboard and create a key.
  3. Choose read-only or read + write. Keys look like rr_live_...; treat them like passwords.

Send it as Authorization: Bearer rr_live_YOUR_KEY.
