Overview

AI-generated overview

Rotase is a remote MCP server for employee scheduling: it validates staffing projects, checks feasibility, generates monthly schedules, reports statistics and,

What you can do
Check service availability and read example store, employee and project payloads, with optional localized labels for names and fields. Create a localized demo project with the current period, country calendar and optional initial schedule. Validate a complete project payload without saving it, and check whether opening hours, staffing, availability, rest rules and work-hour limits can be met. Generate a monthly employee schedule from a project payload and explain any violations returned. Calculate per-store and per-employee statistics for a generated schedule, and export it as spreadsheet-compatible CSV text.
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to draft, validate and test employee schedules and staffing feasibility from a project payload, or to produce schedule statistics and CSV exports, without opening the Rotase web app.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at rotase.com; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. No authentication is declared, and no account is needed for the schedule operations, which do not save projects.
Before you install
Schedule generation, feasibility checks, reports and CSV export operate on payloads you supply and return results without saving anything on the server, so nothing is persisted there. Demo project creation uses the same operation as the Rotase API, so check what it creates before relying on it. Review generated schedules and reported violations before using them for real staffing.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Rotase in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.rotase%2Frotase/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Tools

rotase_health

Check Rotase health

Read-only check that the Rotase scheduling service is available. Use this when connectivity or service availability is uncertain. It does not require a project and does not change data.

Takes no parameters.

rotase_examples

Get Rotase examples

Read an example store, employees and complete project payload. Defaults to English labels; pass a supported language code to localize names. Call this when the project structure or field names are unknown. The returned project can be copied and edited before validation. This operation is read-only and does not access a user browser or saved project.

Parameterslanguage

rotase_create_demo_project

Create a Rotase demo project

Create a localized demonstration project using the same project-creation operation as the Rotase API. The server chooses the current period in the requested timezone, loads the localized demo names and company name, applies the selected country calendar and can generate an initial schedule. The result is returned in the response; nothing is saved on the server or in a browser.

ParameterskindregioncountrylanguagetimezonecloseOnHolidays

rotase_validate_project

Validate a Rotase project

Validate a complete Rotase project payload without saving or modifying it. Use rotase_examples first if the payload shape is unknown. Call this before feasibility checks or schedule generation. The input is the project object itself, not a wrapper with an additional "project" property.

rotase_generate_schedule

Generate an employee schedule

Generate a monthly employee schedule from a complete Rotase project payload. Use rotase_examples to obtain a template, then rotase_validate_project first. The operation calculates and returns a schedule; it does not save a project, modify browser storage or create an account. Explain returned violations or shortages instead of assuming that every project is schedulable.

rotase_check_feasibility

Check schedule feasibility

Check whether a complete Rotase project can satisfy opening hours, staffing requirements, availability, rest rules and work-hour limits. Use after rotase_validate_project and before generation when the user asks whether a schedule is possible. This operation is read-only and does not save or modify the project.

rotase_schedule_report

Create an employee schedule report

Calculate per-store and per-employee statistics for a generated monthly schedule. Pass the complete project object and either provide the generated schedule as the top-level "schedule" property or put it in the project schedules array. This operation is read-only and does not save data.

rotase_export_csv

Export an employee schedule as CSV

Export a generated monthly schedule as spreadsheet-compatible CSV. Pass the complete project object and either provide the generated schedule as the top-level "schedule" property or put it in the project schedules array. The response contains the CSV text; nothing is saved on the server.
