Overview

AI-generated overview

Runheed exposes a workspace's production error groups over MCP so an assistant can search them, read stack traces and context, review trends, and mark errors…

What you can do
  • Search and list error groups by text, status and project, or by most recent occurrence
  • Read a single error group in full, including stack frames, breadcrumbs and agent context
  • Review error statistics over 24 hours, 7 or 30 days, and a project or workspace health score
  • Change error status: resolve with a note, ignore, or move an ignored error back to unresolved
When to use it
Useful when a coding agent should debug real production exceptions from a Node.js or Python app: find the failing error, read its stack trace and surrounding context, fix the code, then mark it resolved with the commit.
Requirements
Remote Streamable HTTP endpoint at runheed.com/api/mcp; no local package. Authentication by OAuth sign-in or an Authorization header with a Bearer agent key (al_...) from Settings > Agent keys. A Runheed workspace with apps reporting errors, and a paid plan (from $29/month per workspace).
Before you install
Requires a Runheed agent key or OAuth sign-in; treat the key as a secret. Three tools change error status (resolve, ignore, unignore), though changes can be reversed. Error data, including affected user and session context, is read from the hosted Runheed service. Plans are billed monthly per workspace.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Runheed in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.runheed%2Frunheed/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

Runheed

Error tracking your coding agent can read. Runheed catches exceptions in your Node.js or Python app and serves them over MCP, so Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any MCP client can read the stack trace, fix the bug and mark it resolved.

  • Website: https://runheed.com
  • MCP server: https://runheed.com/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP). Sign in with OAuth (claude.ai, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex), or send Authorization: Bearer al_... with an agent key.
  • Setup for agents: https://runheed.com/SETUP.txt

This repo holds the Claude Code plugin, the Google Antigravity plugin, the agent skill and the MCP config. The Runheed service itself is hosted.

Install

Claude Code plugin (signs you in on first use, no key to copy):

/plugin marketplace add getrunheed/runheed-plugin/plugin install runheed@runheed

Or add the server directly:

ClientHow
Claude Codeclaude mcp add --transport http --scope user runheed https://runheed.com/api/mcp, then run /mcp and choose Authenticate
Codexcodex mcp add runheed --url https://runheed.com/api/mcp then codex mcp login runheed
claude.ai / Claude DesktopCustomize > Connectors > Add custom connector, URL https://runheed.com/api/mcp
ChatGPTPlugins > + > Add custom MCP server, URL https://runheed.com/api/mcp, OAuth
CursorAdd {"mcpServers": {"runheed": {"url": "https://runheed.com/api/mcp"}}} to ~/.cursor/mcp.json, then sign in from Cursor Settings > MCP
Google Antigravityagy plugin install https://github.com/getrunheed/runheed-plugin (this repo is also an Antigravity plugin: .antigravity-plugin/plugin.json + mcp_config.json), or add {"mcpServers": {"runheed": {"serverUrl": "https://runheed.com/api/mcp"}}} to ~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json and click Authenticate under Customizations
Gemini CLIgemini extensions install https://github.com/getrunheed/runheed-plugin

Then add the SDK to your app (Node.js / TypeScript, Python, or plain HTTP). Your agent can do both steps from https://runheed.com/SETUP.txt.

Install the skill in any agent

skills/runheed/SKILL.md tells an agent when to reach for Runheed and how to set it up. It's the same file served at https://runheed.com/SKILL.md.

What your agent can do

ToolWhat it does
runheed_search_errorsSearches the workspace's error groups by text (type or message), status and project.
runheed_get_errorReturns one error group in full: message, status, counts, first and last seen, environment, agent context, the top stack frames and the latest breadcrumbs.
runheed_get_recentReturns the error groups seen most recently, newest first.
runheed_get_trendsReturns error statistics for the last 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days.
runheed_get_error_contextReturns everything recorded around an error: breadcrumbs, runtime, environment, release, the affected user and the agent session.
runheed_resolve_errorMarks an error group resolved, with an optional note such as the fixing commit.
runheed_ignore_errorMarks an error group ignored, for known or expected errors.
runheed_unignore_errorMoves an ignored error group back to unresolved.
runheed_get_project_healthReturns a 0 to 100 health score for a project, with recent issues and recommendations.

Read tools are read-only; the three status tools only flip an error's status, which can be flipped back.

Pricing

One flat price per workspace, every plan includes the MCP server:

  • Solo: $29 a month. 50,000 events a month, 3 projects, 30-day history.
  • Pro: $79 a month. 250,000 events a month, 15 projects, 90-day history.
  • Scale: $199 a month. 1,000,000 events a month, unlimited projects, 180-day history.

Events over your plan's limit are rejected, never charged. Details: https://runheed.com/pricing

runheed_search_errors

Search errors

Searches the workspace's error groups by text (type, message, route, file or extra data), status and project. Returns each matching group with its status, type, message, route, top stack frame, event count, last-seen time and ID.

ParameterslimitquerystatusprojectId

runheed_get_error

Get an error

Returns one error group in full: message, status, counts, first and last seen, environment, agent context, the top stack frames and the latest breadcrumbs.

ParameterserrorIdrequired

runheed_get_recent

Get recent errors

Returns the error groups seen most recently, newest first, with status, type, message, route, top stack frame, event count, last-seen time and ID.

ParameterslimitprojectId

runheed_get_error_context

Get error context

Returns everything recorded around an error: every breadcrumb, platform, runtime, OS, environment, release, the affected user, the agent session and extra data.

ParameterserrorIdrequired

runheed_resolve_error

Resolve an error

Marks an error group resolved, with an optional note such as the fixing commit. The group reopens on its own if the error happens again. Returns a confirmation.

ParameterscommenterrorIdrequired

runheed_ignore_error

Ignore an error

Marks an error group ignored, for known or expected errors, so new occurrences stop alerting. Returns a confirmation.

ParametersreasonerrorIdrequired

runheed_unignore_error

Moves an ignored error group back to unresolved, so new occurrences alert again. Returns a confirmation.

ParameterserrorIdrequired

runheed_get_project_health

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
