Turns a list of people and reporting lines into an editable SimplOrg org chart link, and reads people and reporting lines back from existing chart links.
What you can do
Create an org chart from a list of people and get a link that opens it in the SimplOrg editor
Read the people and reporting lines from an AI-created or share link
Round-trip an existing chart: read it, edit the returned list, and create an updated chart
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to draft or restructure a team org chart from a description of people and reporting lines, or to read an existing chart link so it can be edited and regenerated.
Requirements
Remote MCP endpoint at mcp.simplorg.com over streamable HTTP; no packages, environment variables or headers declared. No signup is mentioned for creating charts.
Before you install
Creating a chart produces a link that stays valid for 30 days; anyone with the link can open it, and saving or sharing happens in the SimplOrg editor. Charts are limited to 500 people. No authentication is declared, so treat chart links as shareable content.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.simplorg%2Fsimplorg/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
