Returns recommended image sizes for social, shop, print and web platforms and builds links to a free browser resizer preset to a size or KB limit.
What you can do
Look up recommended image sizes in pixels for social, shop, print and web platforms, or list every platform at once
Get a link for each size that opens the Six-IR resizer already set to that size
Build a resizer link preset to a platform size and/or a maximum file size in KB, so the user only adds their photo
When to use it
Useful when someone asks what dimensions an image should be for a platform such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Etsy, Amazon or print, or needs a photo brought under a file size limit and wants a ready-made link to do it.
Requirements
Remote endpoint at six-ir.com over streamable HTTP; no authentication, environment variables or headers declared. The resizing itself happens in the user's browser.
Before you install
The tools cannot see or change photos themselves; they only return sizes and links. Resizing is done on the Six-IR website, so the user leaves the assistant to finish the task there.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.six-ir%2Fsix-ir/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
The recommended image sizes in pixels for a social or shop platform, print or the web: posts, stories, covers, thumbnails, banners, profile photos and more. Leave platform empty to list every platform. Each size comes with a link that opens the Six-IR resizer set to that size.

make_resize_link
Make a Six-IR resize link
A link that opens the free Six-IR resizer with a platform size picked and/or a maximum file size in KB set, so the person only has to add their photo. The photo stays on their device. Takes a size_id (such as ig-story or yt-thumb), a max_kb (for example 100 for a form that wants under 100 KB), or both.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
