Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote dictionary server that lets an assistant look up sourced internet slang terms, decode phrases, and compare documented usage.

What you can do
  • Look up an exact published slang term, slug, or alias, with sources, maturity, canonical URL, and ambiguity notes
  • Search published names, aliases, and summaries without web search or generation
  • Find documented slang inside a phrase while preserving ambiguity
  • Compare documented regional, register, and disambiguation notes for an exact term
  • Read published related terms and recent dictionary summaries, with an optional adult-language filter
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs sourced, non-generated explanations of internet English slang, including labeled adult vocabulary, or wants to spot slang inside a phrase and see how usage differs by region and register.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at slanglane.com; no packages, environment variables, headers, or authentication are declared.
Before you install
Phrase text submitted to decode_phrase is sent to the reference server, not to an LLM. Results include labeled non-graphic adult vocabulary, and the recent-terms tool has an adult-language filter. The server reports documented meanings only and does not generate interpretations.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open SlangLane — Internet English, decoded. in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.slanglane%2Fdictionary/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
