Overview

AI-generated overview

Lets an assistant run UK compliance checks: sanctions and export-control screening, Companies House ownership, FCA register lookups and property reports.

What you can do
Provides eleven tools covering UK compliance lookups. It screens people and organisations against UK, UN, EU and US OFAC sanctions lists and six US export-control lists, returns Companies House company profiles, ownership chains with ultimate beneficial owners, and a company risk score. It also searches the FCA register by firm name or FRN, reports flood, crime, radon and similar risks for a postcode, returns the latest EPC for an address, and can run a whole letting, sale, finance or export job in one call with a signed certificate.
When to use it
Use it when an assistant needs to check a counterparty, buyer, supplier, tenant or firm against UK sanctions, export controls or public registers, or to pull property and company risk data for due diligence. It suits compliance, onboarding and property workflows rather than general web research.
Requirements
A remote endpoint at stratumapis.com using streamable HTTP. It requires an API key sent in the X-Stratum-Key header, either an account key or a free test key from the provider's dashboard. Individual tools need the matching plan or a test key.
Before you install
The X-Stratum-Key header is a secret account credential and should be kept private. Several tools require a paid plan, so usage may incur charges. Screening results are scored possible matches, not definitive determinations, and should be reviewed before acting. Queries send personal and company details to a third-party service.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Stratum UK compliance checks in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect X-Stratum-Key credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.stratumapis%2Fuk-compliance/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

run_suite_check

Run a whole letting, sale, client or export shipment check (charged)

Everyone named is screened for sanctions, each company with a number gets its owners screened, and a property postcode adds the property risk pack; an export shipment screens each party against the US export lists too and reads the UK and US measures on the destination (a screening record, not a licensing decision). PAID from your Stratum credit (free on a test key): confirm with the user first. PEP and adverse media are not run from here.

72% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
