Free Superbridger tools that check captions and videos against Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and X limits, and return specs, image sizes…
What you can do
Count captions the way each platform counts them and flag limit breaches
Check a video's technical facts against per-platform posting rules and get a verdict with reasons
Look up dated platform specs, recommended image sizes and vertical-video safe zones, with sources
Build UTM-tagged links per platform or for a named source
When to use it
Useful when preparing social posts and you want to know before publishing whether a caption or video will be accepted, what sizes and safe zones to design for, or how to tag campaign links. It is a read-only reference and checking tool, not a publisher.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no account, API key or environment variables are declared. Video checks need the video's technical facts (size, dimensions, frame rate, codecs and similar), typically from ffprobe.
Before you install
Nothing is stored and no account is needed, but the tool inputs (caption text, link URLs, video metadata) are sent to the provider's remote service. Publishing is not handled here; that is a separate Superbridger server that requires an account.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.superbridger%2Ffree-tools/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Counts a post's text the way Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and X count it, against each platform's limits: characters, X's weighted 280 (emoji 2, links 23), TikTok's UTF-16 2,200, YouTube's 100-character title and 5,000-byte description, Instagram's 5 hashtags and 20 mentions. Returns each platform's counts, limits and whether it fits.

check_video
Check a video
Says whether a video will post on each platform (as a Reel, Short or video, and as an Instagram or Facebook Story), from its technical facts: size in bytes, length, width and height, frame rate, video and audio codec, sample rate, container, HDR and whether the index is at the front. Returns a verdict per platform with each check's message.

get_platform_specs
Platform specs
Returns the limits for posting to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and X (or one of them): text length and how it's counted, hashtags, video length, file size, shape, codecs, frame rate, Stories, photos per post and posts per day, with the date they were checked.
Parametersplatform
get_image_sizes
Image sizes
Returns recommended image sizes per platform (posts, Stories, covers, banners, thumbnails, profile pictures) with each size's source.
Parametersplatform
get_safe_zones
Safe zones
Returns the margins to keep clear on a 1080×1920 vertical video for Instagram and Facebook Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, where each app's buttons and captions sit, with sources.
Takes no parameters.
build_utm_links
Build UTM links
Adds utm_source, utm_medium (social by default), utm_campaign and optionally utm_content and utm_term to a link: one link per platform, or one for a source you name.
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
