Overview

AI-generated overview

Suumer lets an assistant find local US events by town, date and kind, each checked against its source page, and report wrong listings.

What you can do
  • Find things to do on a given day near a US town or ZIP code, optionally filtered by kind of event such as trivia, live music, karaoke, comedy, games, markets or talks.
  • Report a listing problem to Suumer's review queue when a person says an event's time, place, status or public access is wrong.
When to use it
Useful when someone asks what is happening in a specific US town on a specific date and wants verified local listings, or when they want to flag an incorrect Suumer listing.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint at suumer.com over streamable HTTP; no package, API key, environment variable or header is declared. Network access to the endpoint is needed.
Before you install
Searches send the town, date and kind to Suumer, and reports send the listing and the part that is wrong; the server states nothing else is kept. Reports go to a human review queue, so only send them when the person asks or agrees. US coverage only.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Suumer in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.suumer%2Fevents/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Find local events on Suumer

Things to do on one day near one US town (trivia, live music, karaoke, comedy, games, markets, talks and more), each checked against the page it came from. Give the town the person asked about ("Denver, CO", "Tampa, FL" or "Sacramento, CA") or a 5-digit ZIP, a date, and optionally a kind of event. With no town, the rough town the app shares is used, if it shares one. Read-only: it changes nothing. US events only, at most 25 per call, soonest first. Each result has its own Suumer page to cite (suumerPage), and the original source page when we can show it.

report_listing_problem

Tell Suumer a listing is wrong

Use when the person says a Suumer listing is wrong (the time changed, it was cancelled or moved, the place is wrong, it is not open to the public) and wants Suumer told, or agrees when you offer. Sends one report to Suumer's review queue holding only the listing and which part is wrong, picked from a fixed list: no note, name, email or account is sent or kept. A person at Suumer checks the listing against its source; nothing on the listing changes by itself. Take the listing from the suumerPage of a find_events result. The same report sent twice in a day counts once.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
