Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server that turns public pages into markdown, maps sites, extracts metadata, takes screenshots, searches the web and reads PDFs, paid per call in…

What you can do
  • Scrape a public page into clean markdown, with a cheaper lite tier and automatic provider failover
  • Map a site's same-site and sitemap URLs, deduplicated up to a chosen limit
  • Extract page metadata: title, description, canonical, language, OpenGraph, Twitter tags and JSON-LD
  • Capture screenshots of the visible viewport or the full scrollable page as base64 PNG
  • Run a web search and get up to 10 ranked results with title, URL and snippet
  • Convert a public PDF into page-by-page text
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs fresh web content as clean text, site structure, page metadata, screenshots or PDF text, and you are willing to pay small per-call fees in crypto instead of managing your own scraping stack.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package or local runtime. Every tool except quote is paid in USDC on Base via x402: an unpaid call returns payment requirements that must be retried with a payment payload in _meta. A funded Base wallet or x402-capable client is needed. Network access to the endpoint and to the target public pages.
Before you install
Calls spend real money: scrape and search $0.008, full-page screenshot $0.012, lite scrape $0.003, map and metadata $0.001, pdf $0.008, charged only on success. Payment is made in USDC on Base, so a wallet or signing client is involved. Target URLs and queries are sent to the provider and its upstream scraping providers. Only public pages are supported.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open switch402 in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.switch402%2Fswitch402/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
