Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server for food and drink travel in 200+ cities: verified venues, festivals, tours, stays and car hire, plus an agent partner program.

What you can do
  • Search and read verified venues by text, city, cuisine, dietary need, price or opening time, and fetch one venue in full with nearby options
  • Compose a day of open venues for a city, and pull editorial day-by-day food itineraries
  • Find food festivals with resolved dates, signature dishes and where to eat them, and list covered cities
  • Find bookable food tours, classes and tastings, attraction tickets, things to do, hotels and car hire partners
  • Join and manage a partner account: get a referral code, build tracked links, view visits and earnings, and set a payout method
When to use it
Useful when users ask where to eat or drink in a city, want a food-focused day or itinerary planned, or ask about food festivals, tours, tastings and trip logistics. Also relevant for agents that want to earn commission on bookings they refer.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; nothing to install. Reading needs no key or sign-up. Partner tools need an API key, sent as an Authorization Bearer token or the X-API-Key header, obtained through the partner join and confirm tools; an email is needed before the first payout.
Before you install
Read tools are read-only, but partner tools create an account, change the API key, and store payout details such as a PayPal email, crypto wallet address or bank details, confirmed by emailed code. Booking links are affiliate links that must be passed to users unchanged and disclosed as such. Commission is paid only on partner-confirmed bookings, 30 days after payment, from a $50 threshold.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open TableJourney food travel in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.tablejourney%2Ffood-travel/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

TableJourney and Cork & Curve MCP servers

Two public, remote MCP servers over editorially verified travel data. No key, no sign-up to read. Hosted; nothing to install.

Agents can earn. TableJourney's partner program pays 50% of the commission we are paid on bookings made by the people an agent sends (60% in a month above $500 settled), by PayPal, USDC on Base or bank transfer. An agent joins over MCP with no browser: see Earn.

Tools

Read tools (all read-only and idempotent). Cork & Curve has the first ten; tickets and things_to_do are TableJourney's.

ToolWhat it returns

placeOne venue in full by id, with open_now_utc and three nearby venues
plan_dayA composed day of open venues for a city, filtered by neighbourhood, dietary need, price tier and date
festivalsFestivals with their next resolved dates, by city, country, date window or text
experiencesBookable tours, classes, tastings and tickets
staysHotels and stay partners with booking links
car_hireCar hire partners that cover the city

ticketsTickets for a city's sights (TableJourney)

Every parameter is described in the tool schema. City and country accept names or slugs; an unknown city answers with did_you_mean.

Earn: the partner program for agents

TableJourney only. Free to join; terms at https://tablejourney.com/partners/terms/.

ToolWhat it does
partner_joinStart an account. No email needed: the answer holds an API key and a referral code at once (a person or company behind the agent receives payouts). With an email, a code is emailed instead
partner_add_emailAdd an email before the first payout; confirm it with partner_confirm (the key stays the same)
partner_confirmConfirm an email with its code; returns the API key for an account that joined with an email
partner_signin_code / partner_signinGet a new key later by emailed code
partner_linkAny tablejourney.com page as a link carrying your code
partner_statsVisits, booking clicks, pending, confirmed and paid earnings
partner_payout_method / partner_confirm_payoutSet PayPal, crypto (USDC on Base or Solana, ETH, SOL, BTC) or bank details (confirmed by emailed code)

How attribution works: send the key as Authorization: Bearer <key> (or X-API-Key) and every booking link the read tools return carries your code; or add ?ref=<code> to any https://tablejourney.com link and the visit is yours for 30 days. Commission is paid on bookings the partners confirm, 30 days after they pay us, from $50.

Standard discovery for agents that prefer OAuth: authorization server metadata at https://tablejourney.com/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server (dynamic client registration, PKCE), protected resource metadata at https://tablejourney.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource, and an A2A agent card at https://tablejourney.com/.well-known/agent-card.json. The REST twin is under https://tablejourney.com/api/v1/partners/.

REST twin

The same functions as JSON, with OpenAPI: https://tablejourney.com/api/v1/docs and https://corkandcurve.com/api/v1/docs.

Food festival calendars and widgets (no API needed)

  • Calendar feeds: every dated food festival as iCalendar feeds you can subscribe to in Google, Apple or Outlook calendar: worldwide (https://tablejourney.com/calendar/food-festivals.ics), by kind, by country (/calendar/<country>.ics) and by city (/calendar/<country>/<city>.ics). Dates update daily. Full list: https://tablejourney.com/calendar/
  • Embeddable widgets: iframe lists of upcoming food festivals, where to eat, dishes and food tours for any city or country, no scripts or cookies: https://tablejourney.com/widgets/. Partner program members can add their code to the food tours widget and earn on its bookings.
  • Badge: organisers and venues featured on TableJourney can show a "Featured on TableJourney" badge: https://tablejourney.com/widgets/#badge

Terms

The data and the compute are free. In return: pass booking links to users unchanged (they are /go/ affiliate links that fund the verification work), say they are affiliate links, cite the page URL, and do not bulk-copy the catalogue. Full text: https://tablejourney.com/agents/#terms.

This repository

Documentation and the registry manifests only. The servers run on the sites; there is no code to install here.

Framework packages

Both call the public MCP server at https://tablejourney.com/mcp; no key is needed.

search_places

Search verified places

Use when the user asks where to eat or drink in a city: 'best ramen in Tokyo', 'vegan brunch in Lisbon open on Sunday', 'a wine bar near me in Paris', 'cheap eats in Mexico City', 'is this restaurant open now'. Search verified venues (read-only). Filter by text, city, kind (a topic such as restaurants, cafes, bakeries, markets, street-food, or a group: eat, drink, bake, do), cuisine, dietary, price tier, opening time, or near a coordinate. Results are ranked by relevance then editorial score and carry provenance (source URL, checked_on, open_status), hours, a page URL to cite and a tracked booking link where one exists. Returns at most `limit` items; an unknown city returns {did_you_mean: [...]} instead of a list.
