Tarotap lets an assistant list tarot spreads and run a shuffled Rider-Waite-Smith card draw in an interactive widget, in 23 languages.
What you can do
List available tarot spreads with id, name, tagline, card count and position names in the requested language
Draw cards from a shuffled 78-card Rider-Waite-Smith deck, with the user picking cards by hand in an interactive widget
Use spread ids returned by the listing tool as the spread_id for a draw
When to use it
Useful when a conversation calls for a tarot reading, a fun card draw, or a spread-based reflection exercise, and you want the user to pick their own cards rather than have the assistant choose.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint at tarotap.com; no API key, environment variables or headers declared. The draw relies on an interactive widget, so a client that renders widgets is needed for the user to pick cards.
Before you install
Where the widget renders, the tool result does not contain the drawn cards; the widget sends the user's picks into the conversation, so the client must support that flow. Draws use server-side randomness and are for entertainment, not prediction.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.tarotap%2Ftarot/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
List the tarot spreads available for a reading, with each spread's id, name, tagline, number of cards, and position names, in the requested language. The ids are the values draw_cards accepts as spread_id and are the same in every language.

Draw Tarot Cards
Shuffle a full 78-card Rider-Waite-Smith deck with server-side randomness and show it face-down in an interactive widget, where the user picks their cards by hand. Where the widget renders, the tool result does not contain the drawn cards: the widget sends the cards the user picked to the conversation once the last one is revealed. In a text-only host the cards are drawn server-side and returned in the result. Takes a spread_id from list_spreads to draw into that spread's positions, or a card_count (1-10) for a free-form draw such as a single card of the day. Card names, position names and the widget text follow locale.
