Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server for the tealmac UI shadcn registry: lets an assistant search React components, charts, blocks and templates and get exact install commands.

What you can do
  • Browse the catalogue: list categories with counts, and list items filtered by category or type
  • Search components, charts, blocks, templates, patterns and hooks by need, with synonyms understood
  • Read one item's details: description, props, usage example, dependencies, accessibility notes, quality checks and docs links
  • Get the exact shadcn CLI install command for npm, pnpm, yarn or bun
  • Read the accessibility, motion, theming and SSR rules every item follows
When to use it
Useful when building UI with shadcn/ui and Tailwind CSS v4 and you want the assistant to pick suitable registry items, check their props and accessibility notes, and hand over a correct install command instead of guessing.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, environment variables or headers are declared. Installing items requires the shadcn CLI in the user's project. Pro blocks and templates require a licence key.
Before you install
Blocks and templates are Pro and need a licence key; keep that key private and out of issues or public text. Install commands modify the user's project, so review them before running. Catalogue content and docs links come from a third party.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open tealmac UI in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.tealmac%2Fui/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

tealmac UI

Accessible React components, blocks, templates, charts and themes for shadcn/ui and Tailwind CSS v4.

Site: https://ui.tealmac.com

This repository is for bug reports, item requests and docs problems. The components themselves are installed from the tealmac UI registry with the shadcn CLI, not from this repository.

Install a free item

bash
npx shadcn@latest add https://ui.tealmac.com/r/login-01.json

Or add the namespace once to components.json:

json
{  "registries": {    "@tealmac": "https://ui.tealmac.com/r/{name}.json"  }}

then npx shadcn@latest add @tealmac/login-01.

Pro

Pro items install from a private registry with your licence key. See Set up Pro and Pricing.

For coding agents

tealmac UI has an MCP server, so your coding agent can search the catalogue and get the right install command: https://ui.tealmac.com/mcp-server

Report a problem

  • Bug report: something is broken in an item or on the site.
  • Item request: a component, block or template you would like to see.
  • Docs problem: something in the docs is wrong or unclear.

Licence keys, billing and anything private: email [email protected]. Please do not post licence keys in issues.

Licence

Free items are free to use in personal and commercial projects. Pro items are covered by the Pro licence. See License.

shadcn/ui is a trademark of its owner; tealmac UI is built on shadcn/ui and is not affiliated with it.
