Remote MCP server that prices agent resource holds with a demurrage tariff engine: register, query, evaluate and release holds on pooled resources.
What you can do
Register holds on pooled resources, with task, budget and resource class
Query a hold's tariff: free time left, tier, next-hour cost, accrued cost and idle ratio
Evaluate a hold, including accrual, notice ladder, budget debit and cap snapshot-and-release
Release a hold voluntarily
Restore a snapshot capsule into a new hold, with hash verification
Check own account state: trial remaining, fleet plan and service charges
When to use it
Useful when an assistant or agent fleet needs to track and price time-based holds on shared or pooled resources, with budgets, idle costs and automatic caps, rather than only metering usage.
Requirements
A remote endpoint at textforagents.com over streamable HTTP. Every tool requires an api_token; registering a hold also needs agent, resource_class, task and budget, and restoring a capsule needs a budget. Some calls accept an optional x_payment value for paid operations.
Before you install
Operations are metered and paid: one free registration and one free query per operator ever, then per-hold and per-query charges via x402, with a fleet plan available. The api_token is a credential and should be kept private. Registering, evaluating, releasing and restoring holds change account and hold state, and evaluation can debit budgets and release holds at a cap.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.textforagents%2Fdemurrage-for-agent-resource-holds/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Register a hold on a pooled resource (one free registration per operator, ever; then $0.01/hold x402; fleet plan included). Requires api_token, agent, resource_class, task, budget; optional state, x_payment.
Own account state: trial remaining, fleet plan, service charges. Requires api_token.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
