Overview

AI-generated overview

A cited archive of verbatim passages on how organizations use AI, searchable by topic, organization and speaker, with source, evidence grade and check status.

What you can do
  • Search verbatim passages on how organizations use AI, ranked by relevance and evidence clarity
  • Read a single passage with its full citation, or browse all topics and their passages
  • Look up organizations with sector, size, filing results and their people, and look up individual speakers
  • Check whether a quotation attributed to someone appears in the archive's checked list or in matching passages
  • Get archive counts of passages, organizations, speakers and checked passages
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs sourced, quotable statements about real-world AI adoption instead of recalled quotes, for research, briefings or fact-checking a quotation attributed to an executive.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no packages, environment variables or headers declared, and no authentication declared.
Before you install
The archive's own rules require verbatim quoting with attribution, grade and link, and treating an empty result as absence from the archive rather than proof a quote is false. Queries and quoted names are sent to a third-party service.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open The AI Record in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.the-ai-record%2Farchive/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

search_passages

Search passages

Find verbatim passages where people at organizations described how they use AI, ranked by relevance with checked passages and the clearest statements first. Each result has speaker, role, organization, date, source, evidence grade, verification status and its own link. Returns nothing when the archive holds nothing on point.
