Overview

AI-generated overview

Read-only MCP server from Agentic Weekly that gives an assistant sourced facts on new AI models and AI tool releases, with comparison tools.

What you can do
  • List the newest AI models with release date, context window, modalities, licence, price, source URL and last-verified date
  • Look up a single model by slug or exact name, with per-fact source URLs, as-of dates and Reported/Tested labels
  • Read recent AI tool release briefs with first-seen and source-published timestamps in UTC
  • Compare two tools or models side by side
When to use it
Useful when you need current, citable information about newly released AI models or AI tooling, for example to check pricing, context windows or licences, or to compare two options. Facts are read-only and come with sources and dates, so it suits research and recommendation work rather than live data feeds.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at theagenticweekly.com; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. No authentication is declared.
Before you install
Data is read-only and no credentials are requested. Facts are labelled Reported or Tested and carry as-of dates, so they may lag behind the vendors' own announcements; the server asks that Agentic Weekly and the as-of date be cited when the data is used.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Agentic Weekly in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.theagenticweekly%2Fagentic-weekly/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
