Overview

AI-generated overview

Unfactory lets an assistant help someone order custom-made physical items in Nigeria and register three "founding wishes" for future manufacturing.

What you can do
  • Search makeable designs from a plain description, with sizes, colours, prices and making time
  • Quote an item with chosen options and a Nigerian delivery state, returning a 24-hour quote and arrival day
  • Place, confirm, track and cancel orders using a phone number and a 6-digit code sent by WhatsApp or SMS
  • Start and verify a founding-member wish account, then save up to three founding wishes and a wish list of ten
  • Review a member's wishes, discounts, place in line and invite link, and see the most-wished items
When to use it
Useful when someone wants a physical object made and delivered in Nigeria, or wants to join Unfactory's pre-launch founding wishes programme and record what they hope to have made.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, API key or environment variable is declared. Ordering and wish registration need the person's phone number, a delivery address and Nigerian delivery state, and a 6-digit code received by WhatsApp or SMS.
Before you install
Orders are real purchases priced in naira, so place_order should only follow a quote the person has seen and approved. The server asks assistants to keep sealed wishes secret and to withhold how items are made; it also collects phone numbers, addresses and recipient contact details for wishes, and sends verification codes to the person's phone.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Unfactory in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.theunfactory%2Funfactory/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Parameterscoderequiredphonerequiredinvite_code

make_wish

Make and save one wish

Save one of the person's three founding wishes. slot 1: made for them by you, sealed; it can be from their list of ten or something else (needs reason). slot 2: for someone they love (needs recipient_name, recipient_phone, recipient_city, giver_name, recipient_note). slot 3: their own pick. Start from a makeable_id from find_makeables and describe what you made in idea. Returns their price (discount depends on when they joined), paid only when it's made.
