Live social feeds and review widgets for any website, set up by your AI agent.
Overview
Hosted MCP server that lets an assistant set up and manage TileSet social feed, review and testimonial widgets on a website.
- What you can do
- Connect sources, create and update widgets, and get embed snippets
- Verify that a widget's script is installed on a live page
- Inspect source content as counts only, and get preview links for layouts
- Create and edit link-in-bio pages and read their views and clicks
- Add testimonials that wait for dashboard approval
- Check credit balance, source update schedules, trigger updates and set a monthly cap
- When to use it
- Useful when you want an assistant to add live social feeds, Google reviews, YouTube videos or testimonials to a site, or to build a link-in-bio page, without writing the feed code yourself. Also handy for checking whether an existing TileSet widget is actually installed on a page.
- Requirements
- Remote hosted endpoint; nothing to install or run locally. First use opens a browser tab for Google or email sign-in and approval. Clients that cannot do browser sign-in need an API key from the TileSet dashboard sent as an Authorization Bearer header. A TileSet account and plan apply; the free plan offers 60 credits a month and up to 3 live sources.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open TileSet in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.tileset%2Ftileset/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config.

TileSet MCP server
TileSet puts live social feeds, reviews and testimonials on any website with one script tag and one div. This repository is the public home of its MCP server, so you can add TileSet to your AI agent and let it set up widgets for you. Smash Balloon makes TileSet.
The server is hosted. There's nothing to install or run:
The first time your agent calls it, a browser tab opens. You sign in with Google or by email and approve, and that's the whole setup. There's no key to create or paste.
Add it to your agent
Clients that can't do the browser sign-in can send an API key instead: create one under Agents & API in the TileSet dashboard and send it as Authorization: Bearer <key>.
Step-by-step guides for each client: Connect an AI agent.
Then ask for what you want
- "Add my Google reviews to the homepage, below the booking button."
- "Show my latest YouTube videos on the landing page."
- "Make me a Link in bio page with my shop link and my newest reviews."
- "Is my TileSet widget installed on example.com/about?"
The agent connects the source, builds the widget, gives you the snippet (or places it, if it can edit your site) and checks that it's live.
What the agent can do
- Set up:
setup_widgetconnects a source, creates a widget and returns the snippet in one step.verify_installchecks a live page for the script and the widget. Plusconnect_source,create_widget,update_widget,get_embed_code,describe_widget_optionsand the list tools. - Design without reading your content:
describe_source_contentanswers with counts (how many items, ratings, photos, text lengths), and every widget tool returns a preview link, so the agent picks a layout and looks at the result. - Link in bio pages: create one, change its look and blocks, and read its views and clicks.
- Testimonials: add testimonials, which wait for your approval in the dashboard.
- Updates and credits: see the balance and how often each source updates, trigger an update, or set a monthly cap.
The full list, with every argument: What an agent can do.
What the agent never sees
An agent sets up and runs your widgets, but it never reads your content. No tool returns a post or a review, or its words, names, pictures or links. It gets a TileSet key for your account's widgets and sources, never your platform passwords or tokens. You see your content in the dashboard, and your visitors see it in the widget.
Why not just write the feed code?
You can, and for a feed you need in your own database, or one from a platform TileSet doesn't connect, you should. For a feed on a page, TileSet runs the parts a quick fetch script leaves out: the update schedule, the platform tokens, a last good copy kept for 30 days when a platform goes down, and a script under 10 KB that doesn't move your layout around. The honest comparison is here: TileSet or build it yourself.
Plans
The free plan has 60 credits a month and up to 3 live sources, with no card needed. Credits are only spent when a source updates, and page views are never counted. Plans and credits.

Score
50% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
- Reached in the last 30 daysRequired25 pts
Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declaredRequired10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.

Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.
