TradeGauge is a remote MCP server that lets an assistant look up fantasy football market values, grade trades, and read Sleeper league rosters and activity.
What you can do
Look up players and rookie picks by name with market value, positional rank and tier, and get full value detail with comparable players and trade targets at a similar price. Grade dynasty or redraft trades of any size with a win/even/lose verdict, value totals per side and structural context. List top players by market value, overall or by position, and see recent risers and fallers. Read a Sleeper league's completed trades, unrostered high-value players and replacement-level context, and price every team's roster with a power ranking.
When to use it
Useful when a user asks what a fantasy football player is worth, whether a proposed trade is fair, who is trending up or down, or how their Sleeper league team compares. It suits dynasty and redraft trade discussions where current market values matter.
Requirements
A remote endpoint reached over streamable HTTP; no local package, environment variables or headers are declared. Sleeper league lookups take a username and need no login. Network access to the TradeGauge endpoint is required.
Before you install
Values reflect what the market pays, not a specific roster's needs, and the single dynasty value table is superflex-weighted with no 1QB split, so results can mislead in 1QB dynasty leagues. Sleeper access is read-only. Treat grades as advisory and weigh the user's contention window before endorsing a deal.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.tradegaugehq%2Fmcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Find players (and rookie picks) by name and get their current dynasty market value, positional rank, and tier.
USE WHEN: you need to resolve a name before grading a trade, or the user asks what someone is worth.
Returns several candidates when the name is ambiguous — pick the right one rather than guessing.

tradegauge_get_league_activity
Get Sleeper trades and free agents
Read completed trades from a Sleeper league and identify the highest-value players currently unrostered.
USE WHEN: the user asks what their league has paid, wants recent trade history, waiver targets, or replacement-level context.
Read-only: nothing is posted to Sleeper.
Parametersweeklimitformatleague_idrequired
tradegauge_get_player_value
Get one player's value and trade comparables
Full detail for a single player: market value, overall and positional rank, tier, age, and the players closest to them in value.
USE WHEN: the user asks what one player is worth, or wants realistic trade targets at a comparable price.
The comparables list is the practical answer to 'what could I get for him' — players inside the even band trade roughly one-for-one.

tradegauge_evaluate_trade
Grade a trade
Grade a dynasty or redraft trade of any size using current market values. Returns a WIN / EVEN / LOSE verdict, the value total for each side, and structural context the raw chart misses (consolidation, best player in the deal, pick-heavy sides).
USE WHEN: the user asks whether a trade is fair, who wins a deal, or what they should add to even it out.
Pass player names as the user said them — the tool resolves them and tells you if a name was ambiguous or unknown.
Top players by current market value, overall or filtered to one position (QB/RB/WR/TE, or PICK for rookie draft picks).
USE WHEN: the user asks for rankings, tiers, 'who are the top dynasty WRs', or wants to find trade targets in a value range.
Parameterslimitformatposition
tradegauge_get_value_movers
Get recent value movers
Players whose dynasty market value has moved most recently — risers and fallers, with the size of the move.
USE WHEN: the user asks who is trending up or down, wants buy-low or sell-high candidates, or asks what changed in the market.
Movement is measured against a recent market baseline, not a fixed window, so treat it as 'what the market has repriced lately'.
Parameterslimitpositiondirection
tradegauge_get_league_roster
Value a Sleeper league
Pull real rosters from a Sleeper league and price every team with current market values: total roster value, league power ranking, and each team's best assets.
USE WHEN: the user mentions their Sleeper league or asks about their own team — 'is my team contending', 'who should I trade', 'what is my roster worth'.
Call with `sleeper_username` alone to list the user's leagues, then again with the chosen `league_id`. Read-only: nothing is written to Sleeper and no login is needed.
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
