TrademarkMind lets an assistant check a brand name or logo against U.S., international and Canadian trademark registers and get a clear, caution or conflict.
What you can do
Check a brand name against U.S. federal and Madrid international registers, with closest conflicting marks and their status and similarity scores, or run a combined check that also covers logos, domains and social handles with one verdict of clear, caution or conflict. Compare a logo image against registered logos by shape, depicted content and embedded wording. Map a plain description of what a business sells onto the Nice classes a filing would need. Search WIPO Madrid international registrations by name, with designated and refused countries. Retrieve the current state of a check started earlier by its job id.
When to use it
Useful when someone is choosing or vetting a brand name or logo and wants a quick preliminary read on whether it is already taken, which classes a filing would need, or how a name is protected abroad. It is a screening aid, not a legal clearance opinion.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, environment variables or headers are declared. The manifest declares no authentication, so no account or API key is shown as required. Network access to the provider's endpoint is needed.
Before you install
Checks run against third-party trademark registers, so the names, logos and business descriptions submitted are sent to the provider and onward to those registers. Results are preliminary screening only and should not replace advice from a trademark attorney. No credentials, payments or write actions are declared.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.trademarkmind%2Ftrademark-check/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
The complete check, and the one to prefer when someone asks whether a brand is free: the name against the U.S. and international trademark registers, the logo if they share one, and the domains and social handles, all resolved into a single verdict of clear, caution or conflict. Returns a link to the full report and to a PDF of it.

check_name
Check a brand name
Scores a proposed brand name against the U.S. federal trademark register and the international Madrid register in the chosen classes, and returns the closest conflicting marks with their similarity, their status, and whether they are still live. Use this when someone asks whether a name is taken, available, or safe to register.
Parametersmarkrequiredclassesrequired
check_logo
Check a logo
Compares a logo image against the registered logos on the U.S. and international registers, three ways: the shape of the image, what the image depicts, and the wording inside it. Each match comes back with a similarity score, how it matched, and whether the registration is still live. Use this when someone shares artwork and asks whether it clashes with an existing mark. The search takes a minute or two, so this returns a job id to read back with get_result.

suggest_classes
Find the right classes
Maps a plain description of what a business sells onto the Nice classes a trademark filing would need. Call this before check_name whenever the user has not given class numbers.

search_international
Search the international register
Searches WIPO Madrid System international registrations by name, showing for each one the countries it was designated in and the countries that refused it. Use this for questions about protecting a name abroad.

get_result
Read a check that was still running
Returns the current state of a check started earlier, using the job id it gave you. Call it again after a short wait while the status is still running.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
