Niche trend intelligence for agents: what is trending, what customers ask, with sources and dates.

Overview

AI-generated overview

TrendsFast is a remote MCP server that gives an assistant niche trend intelligence: what is trending and what customers ask, with sources and dates.

What you can do
  • Query global trends from a shared saved index, ranked by popularity or measured growth and region
  • Rank niche trends against a confirmed project context or a temporary niche, optionally collecting the brand's own sources fresh
  • Discover trends across global, core and adjacent scope and every source channel in one call
  • Ask bounded questions about competitors, complaints, feature requests, hooks and formats, or keywords
  • Read saved results, page through them, or recover a result by request ID
  • Read the connected project context and the shared credit balance
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs sourced, dated trend and customer-demand evidence for a niche or brand, for example to inform content, positioning or keyword research. Global discovery works without a product profile; product-specific ranking needs a confirmed project context.
Requirements
A remote endpoint at trendsfast.com over streamable HTTP. A TrendsFast project API key is required as a bearer token in the Authorization header, created in the TrendsFast dashboard. Calls consume credits from a shared balance.
Before you install
Queries spend credits: niche trends can cost up to 3, discovery and Ask up to 5, and niche trends with a product collects the brand's sources fresh. Discovery saves results and may debit credits. Source coverage may be incomplete, and some channels are reported UNAVAILABLE rather than empty. The API key is a secret sent in the Authorization header.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open TrendsFast in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect Authorization token credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.trendsfast%2Ftrends/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
