Real-time data APIs for 50+ commerce, grocery, social and maps platforms over one OAuth MCP server
Overview
Remote OAuth MCP server that gives an assistant paid, real-time data APIs for 60+ commerce, grocery, social and maps platforms as structured JSON.
- What you can do
- Find and inspect capabilities by task, platform, URL or category, with input schemas, examples, run time and price
- Validate an input and preview the exact credit price before running anything
- Run a capability with a credit ceiling and safe retries, then fetch job results, including large results in chunks
- List recent jobs and export finished jobs or collections as JSON Lines or CSV with checksums
- Optionally expose chosen platforms or capabilities as their own named tools, and enable account, feedback and collection tools via consent
- When to use it
- Useful when an assistant needs live product, grocery, social or maps data from third-party platforms without building and maintaining scrapers, and when per-request pricing shown up front is acceptable.
- Requirements
- Nothing to install: it is a hosted remote endpoint using Streamable HTTP. Authentication is OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration, or an Upscrape API key sent as a bearer token. An Upscrape account with prepaid credits is needed for paid capabilities; new accounts get up to 100 free credits.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Upscrape in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.upscrape%2Fmcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

Upscrape MCP server
[Upscrape MCP connector – tool definition quality and endpoint health on Glama]
Real-time data APIs for 60+ commerce, grocery, social and maps platforms, over one remote MCP server. AI clients such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Codex and Gemini CLI connect with OAuth and get structured JSON from the live source.
This repository holds connection instructions and the registry description. The server itself is hosted by Upscrape; there is nothing to install or run.
Connect
Add the server URL to your client and sign in to Upscrape when the browser opens. No API key is needed with OAuth. You can also generate a configuration for your client at Connect MCP.
Claude and ChatGPT
Add a custom connector with this URL and sign in:
Claude Code
Then open /mcp in Claude Code and authenticate.
Cursor
This repository is also a Cursor plugin (manifest). To configure it by hand, add to your MCP configuration (example):
VS Code
Save as .vscode/mcp.json, start the server and authenticate
(example):
Codex
Add to your Codex configuration, then run codex mcp login upscrape
(example):
Gemini CLI
Add to settings.json, then run /mcp auth upscrape
(example):
API key instead of OAuth
Clients that accept a bearer token can use an Upscrape API key. See API key setup.
Tools
The default connection exposes seven tools:
Account, feedback and collection tools appear only when you allow them on the consent page, and a read-only connection has no tools that spend credits.
Every tool carries read-only and destructive hints. No tool is destructive.
To expose specific platforms or capabilities as their own named tools, add them
to the URL, for example https://data.upscrape.com/mcp?platforms=blinkit. See
tool pinning and
tools.
Pricing
Prepaid credits, no subscription. Each capability publishes its price in credits, and the price is shown before each request runs. Failed requests are not charged and purchased credits do not expire. New accounts get up to 100 free credits to start. See pricing.
Security
- Access tokens are bound to the MCP resource and can be revoked at any time.
- The consent page can restrict a connection to selected platforms or disable execution. See scoped access.
- Results come from third-party websites. Treat them as data, never as instructions. See security.
Upscrape is not affiliated with the platforms in its catalog. Platform names are trademarks of their respective owners.
Directories
Listed in the official MCP Registry and on Glama.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
