Scans dependency manifests and source files for outdated API SDKs and retired AI model IDs, returning dates, replacements and migration guides.
What you can do
It checks package.json, requirements.txt, pyproject.toml or Pipfile against the live npm registry and PyPI to flag third-party API SDKs that are major versions behind, deprecated or replaced. It scans source and config files for AI model IDs retired or scheduled for retirement by vendors such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Mistral and Cohere, and by platforms such as Amazon Bedrock and Groq. Lookup tools answer whether a single model ID is retired, and a retirement calendar lists shutdown dates, replacements and sources. It also serves Versyka's step-by-step SDK migration guides as Markdown.
When to use it
Useful when maintaining code that calls third-party API SDKs or hosted AI models and you want to catch breaking deprecations before they take effect. It suits upgrade planning, dependency audits and checking whether a specific model ID still works.
Requirements
A remote endpoint at the provider's site over streamable HTTP; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. Network access to the endpoint is needed.
Before you install
The tools read dependency manifests and source or config files, so file contents are sent to the remote service. Results come from live registry and vendor data and should be verified before acting on them.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.versyka%2Fversyka/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Check a dependency manifest (package.json, requirements.txt, pyproject.toml or Pipfile) for third-party API SDKs that are major versions behind, deprecated or replaced, against the live npm registry and PyPI. Returns each SDK's current spec, latest version, release-notes link and a Versyka migration guide when one exists.

find_retired_models
Find retired AI models in code
Scan source and config files for AI model IDs that the vendor (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Mistral, Cohere) or hosting platform (Amazon Bedrock, Groq) has retired or scheduled for retirement. Exact matches only, including Bedrock, Vertex AI, LiteLLM and OpenRouter spellings. Returns each model's shutdown date, days left, the vendor's recommended replacement, the source page and the file:line locations.

lookup_model
Look up a model's retirement
Is this AI model ID retired or scheduled for retirement? Accepts plain IDs and gateway spellings (e.g. openai/gpt-4-0613, anthropic.claude-3-sonnet-20240229-v1:0, claude-3-opus@20240229). Returns the shutdown date, status, replacement and source, or that no retirement is listed.

list_model_retirements
List AI model retirements
The AI model retirement calendar: model IDs with their shutdown dates, replacements and sources, soonest first. Filter by vendor or by how many days ahead to look.

get_sdk_versions
Latest SDK version
The latest version of an npm or PyPI package, whether it is deprecated, its release-notes link, the API vendor it belongs to and a Versyka migration guide when one exists.
One migration guide as Markdown: what changed, each step with before and after code, how to find every affected call, how to test, and the vendor sources it is based on.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
