Overview

AI-generated overview

Connects an assistant to the Vmotif node-based design canvas to read and edit canvases and generate images, video, code, SVG, shaders and HTML screens.

What it does
Vmotif is a hosted MCP server for a node-based design canvas. An assistant can read and edit canvases, generate images, video, code, SVG, shaders and HTML screens, and run saved workflows. Results are placed on the canvas alongside the prompt and references that produced them.
When to use it
Use it when you want an assistant to work inside a visual design canvas rather than only returning text: producing or iterating on generated assets, editing existing canvases, or re-running saved generation workflows.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at vmotif.com, with OAuth 2.1 sign-in on first use. A Vmotif Pro, Team or Enterprise plan is required. No local runtime, packages, environment variables or headers are declared.
Before you install
Generation, captures, site scrapes and workflow runs spend the plan's GPU wallet, so usage costs money; reading canvases, models and usage is free. If you belong to more than one workspace, the agent asks which one to bill. The server can edit canvases and run workflows, which changes stored data.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Vmotif in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

README

Vmotif MCP

Connect your agent to Vmotif, the node-based design canvas. Your agent can read and edit canvases, generate images, video, code, SVG, shaders and HTML screens, and run saved workflows. Every result lands on a canvas next to the prompt and references that made it.
