Overview

AI-generated overview

Read-only access to WarStrikes' source-linked record of reported strikes and military activity in conflict regions, with reports, events and signals.

What you can do
  • Search and read public reports from the last 7 days, filtered by words, region and type, each with source, source type and location precision
  • Fetch a single report by id with its source, nearest infrastructure and nearby reports
  • Get the daily briefing for a UTC date, grouped by region and linked to each report
  • List the conflict regions WarStrikes follows with 24-hour and 7-day report counts
  • Search and retrieve Events (occurrences linked to all describing reports, with entities, sectors and impacts) when an API key with the Events layer is supplied
  • Search and retrieve Signals (severity, confidence and materiality assessments) when an API key with the Signals layer is supplied
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs current, attributable information on reported strikes, explosions or military activity in conflict regions, and should cite the original source rather than assert confirmed facts. Also suited to daily situation summaries by region or to tracking how a single incident was reported.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no local install. Public report tools need no key. Events and Signals tools require a WarStrikes API key with the corresponding layer, sent as an Authorization header in the form Bearer plus the key.
Before you install
The optional Authorization header carries a WarStrikes API key; keep it private. Content is reported by third-party sources, not confirmed facts, so it should be presented as reported with UTC times and linked to its source. The server is read-only and exposes no write actions.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open WarStrikes in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.warstrikes%2Fwarstrikes/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
