Overview

AI-generated overview

WebKnox shows interactive answer cards in chat — comparisons with photos, weather, nutrition, recipes, media players and more — for questions that fit one.

What you can do
  • Show an interactive answer card for a question that matches a supported card type
  • Compare two to four things side by side with photos
  • Show weather forecasts for a named place, plus sunrise, sunset and moon phases
  • Show nutrition facts for a food, recipes, translations and word definitions
  • Show media players for videos, radio and podcasts
When to use it
Useful when the user asks for a comparison of a few things, a weather forecast, nutrition facts, a recipe, a translation or definition, or a video, radio or podcast to play, and you want a visual card with sources instead of plain text. Other questions are meant to be answered by the assistant itself.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint at mcp.webknox.com over streamable HTTP; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. The assistant must phrase the question as one self-contained sentence in the user's language, naming the place, food or things involved.
Before you install
Questions are sent to a third-party service, so anything included in the sentence leaves the local environment. The server asks assistants not to repeat card content, which can change how answers read. No authentication or credentials are declared.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open WebKnox in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.webknox%2Fwebknox/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Ask WebKnox

Shows the user an interactive WebKnox answer card, with its sources, for questions that have one: comparisons of two to four things with photos ("ravens vs crows"), weather forecasts for a named place, sunrise, sunset and moon phases, nutrition facts of a food, recipes, translations and word definitions, unit conversions and calculations, the time in a city and countdowns, pictures of a subject, videos, music, radio stations, podcasts and sounds, jokes, quotes, fun facts and what happened on this day. It has no cards for general knowledge, advice, opinions, coding or writing. For a question without a card, the result says so and shows nothing.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
