WeekSpots lets an assistant find upcoming events and outings in Paris and Île-de-France, plus permanent places across France.
What you can do
Search upcoming events by free-text need in any language, ranked by relevance and distance
List upcoming events in a specific Île-de-France town, filtered by weekend, free, or children
Read one event's details: dates, venue, price, age information, booking link and conditions
Find permanent places open all year anywhere in France, nearest first
When to use it
Useful when someone asks what to do in Paris or the Île-de-France region, wants family-friendly, free or weekend outings, or needs a park, playground, pool or cultural venue rather than a dated event.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at app.weekspots.com; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared, and no authentication is declared.
Before you install
Results are limited to Paris and Île-de-France for events and to France for places, so coverage is regional. Event details include booking links and conditions that should be checked with the venue before relying on them.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.weekspots%2Fevents/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Semantic search over upcoming events in Paris and Île-de-France. The query can be in any language and describe a need ("rainy day activity for a 4 year old", "jazz gratuit", "亲子手工"). Returns up to 10 events, best match first, nearest first when a location is given.
Upcoming events in one town of Île-de-France (e.g. Paris, Versailles, Saint-Germain-en-Laye), soonest first. Optional filter: this weekend, free, or for children. Returns up to 10 events and the total count; `more_url` is the full list.

Find permanent places nearby
Permanent places open all year anywhere in France (playgrounds, parks, sports courts, skateparks, pools, amusement parks, zoos, libraries, museums and other cultural venues, heritage sites), nearest first. Use it when there is no dated event that fits, or the user wants a place rather than an event. Give a location (near_lat/near_lon) or a town of Île-de-France. Returns up to 10 places.
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
