Read, summarize and act on the voice memos you record with Whisper Memos.
Overview
A remote MCP server that lets an assistant list, read, summarize and delete the voice memos transcribed in a Whisper Memos account.
- What you can do
- List recent voice memos, filtered by label or date, and read each memo's transcript and summaries, so the assistant can summarize a period or pull out action items. Delete a memo that is no longer needed. It cannot record, create or edit memos.
- When to use it
- Useful when you already record voice memos in Whisper Memos and want an assistant to summarize them, search them by topic, extract action items, or turn a memo into a task such as a GitHub issue.
- Requirements
- A remote endpoint at whispermemos.com/mcp, reachable over the network. An existing Whisper Memos account, signed in through an OAuth flow in the browser and approved in the Whisper Memos iPhone app. Access is limited to the connected account's memos.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Whisper Memos in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.whispermemos%2Fwhisper-memos/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

Whisper Memos plugin
Whisper Memos turns the voice memos you record on your iPhone or Apple Watch into text. This plugin lets your coding agent work with those memos.
What it can do
- List your recent memos, filtered by label or date
- Read a memo's transcript and summaries
- Delete a memo you no longer need
It cannot record, create or edit memos.
Example prompts
- "Summarize the memos I recorded this week."
- "Find my memo about the launch and list the action items."
- "Turn my latest memo into a GitHub issue."
Setup
- Install the plugin.
- When asked to sign in, a Whisper Memos page opens in your browser.
- Approve the connection in the Whisper Memos app on your iPhone.
You need an existing Whisper Memos account. The plugin only accesses memos in the account you connect.

How it works
The plugin holds no code. It points at the Whisper Memos MCP server,
https://whispermemos.com/mcp. You can also add that address by hand to any MCP client.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
