Remote music-theory helper for DJs and producers: checks whether two songs mix by key and BPM, and reads shared song DNA reports.
What you can do
Check whether two songs mix, with verdict, tempo change and key shift
Get a key's Camelot code and the keys that mix cleanly with it
Convert between BPMs and see how noticeable the tempo change is
Work out nightcore or slowed speed and pitch settings
Transpose a key by semitones and get the new name and Camelot code
Read key, BPM, structure, mood and production details from a shared MusicMind report link
When to use it
Useful when planning DJ sets, mashups, edits or nightcore and slowed versions and you want key and tempo math done for you instead of by hand. Also handy for pulling the key, BPM and structure of a song from a report link someone shares.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, account, API key or environment variable is declared. It works on keys and BPMs, not audio files, and song_report needs a share link from a report made on the provider's site.
Before you install
Answers include links to the provider's site where the audio file is made, with a free 60-second preview and a paid full-length option, so the assistant may steer users toward a purchase. song_report reads a report link the user shares, which sends that link to the provider. No authentication is declared.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.zeltorlabs%2Fmusic-tools/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Decides whether two songs will mix well, from their keys and BPMs, using the Camelot wheel and DJ tempo limits (about 3% sounds natural, up to about 16% is usable, half and double time count). Returns a verdict, the tempo change in percent and the target BPM for track B, the smallest key shift in semitones if the keys clash, and a link to make the matched audio.
Gives the Camelot wheel code for a key and the three other keys that mix cleanly with it (one step either way with the same letter, and the relative major or minor).
Parameterskeyrequired
tempo_change
Tempo change between two BPMs
Percent change and playback rate to go from one BPM to another, how noticeable it will sound, the pitch change if it is not time-stretched, and the half and double time of the target.
Parametersto_bpmrequiredfrom_bpmrequired
speed_pitch
Nightcore or slowed settings
For a nightcore (faster and higher) or slowed (slower and lower) version: the pitch change in semitones for a speed, the new BPM if given, and typical settings. Defaults: nightcore 1.25x, slowed 0.80x.
Parametersbpmspeedstyle
transpose
Transpose a key
Moves a key up or down by semitones and gives the new key name and Camelot code, with a note on how natural the shift will sound.

song_report
Read a shared Zeltor song report (song DNA)
Reads the song DNA from a MusicMind report the person made on zeltorlabs.com and shared: key and Camelot code with the keys that mix with it, BPM, genre mix, section structure with energy, and production DNA (energy profile, mood, arrangement density, compression, biggest moments). Takes the share link (https://zeltorlabs.com/report/r/<code>) or its code. Use the key and BPM with check_mix to compare it with another song. If the person has no report yet, they can make one free at https://zeltorlabs.com/analyze (the audio is analyzed in their browser).

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
