Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted MCP server that lets an assistant price, create and track 2D videos and 3D films in the user's AIVideo.day account.

What you can do
  • Quote the credit cost of a video and check the account balance
  • Start a 2D video or 3D film from a written brief, spending credits up to a set cap
  • Check a video's status and get its MP4 address once ready
  • List the account's latest videos, newest first
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to turn a written brief into a finished video inside an existing AIVideo.day account, with the price checked before anything is spent. It suits users on a Pro or Business plan who are comfortable with credits being consumed.
Requirements
Remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; nothing to install. An AIVideo.day account on a Pro or Business plan, signed in via OAuth or an Authorization bearer token. A browser with a graphics card is needed to produce the MP4 from the returned render URL, especially for 3D films.
Before you install
make_video spends the user's own credits, so confirm the quote and get agreement first; a daily credit limit can be set. The MP4 is only produced when the returned render URL is opened in a browser. Sign-in goes through a separate Lumora account page, and a token grants access to the account until revoked.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open AIVideo.day in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/day.aivideo%2Fvideo/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

AIVideo.day MCP server

Let your own AI make videos in your AIVideo.day account. Ask Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor for a video: it writes it, tells you the credit price and makes it.

This is a hosted server, so there is nothing to install or run. This repository holds its listing, not its code.

  • Address: https://mcp.aivideo.day/mcp
  • Transport: Streamable HTTP
  • Sign-in: OAuth with your Lumora account (the sign-in page is on mcp.lumorabuild.com), or a token for tools that take a header
  • Plans: Pro and Business
  • Guide: https://aivideo.day/mcp/

Connect

Claude and ChatGPT. Add https://mcp.aivideo.day/mcp as a custom connector, sign in once and pick a daily credit limit.

Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code and others. Make a token in your account, then add it to your tool's settings:

How the MP4 gets made

The server writes the video. The MP4 itself is made when render_url is opened in a browser: your AI opens it, or gives it to you. There is nothing to sign in to or click, and the page says Done when the file is saved. A 3D film needs a browser with a graphics card, such as Chrome or Edge on a computer; a browser without one says so on the page.

What it can't do

It can't spend past the daily limit you set, buy credits, change your plan, delete anything or publish anything. You can disconnect it or revoke its token at any time.

Tools

4

quote_video

Price a video

Returns the credits a video of this kind and length costs and the account's balance. Free, and nothing starts. Needs a Pro or Business plan. A 3D film is priced per started minute, so the answer's seconds is the longest it may run for that price (15 s asked = up to 60 s).

Parameterskindrequiredsecondsrequired

make_video

Make a video

Starts a video in the user's AIVideo.day account from a written brief: script, voices, pictures or 3D characters. Spends the user's credits, at most max_credits, so get the price from quote_video and the user's agreement first. Returns video_id and render_url. The server writes the video; the MP4 file is made when render_url is opened in a browser. Read the result with get_video.

get_video

Check a video

Returns where one of the user's videos stands (writing, needs_browser, rendering, ready or failed), its render_url until the file exists, and video_url when the MP4 is ready. Free.

Parametersvideo_idrequired

list_my_videos

List my videos

Lists the user's latest videos, newest first: id, title, when it last changed, and the MP4's address once it has one. Free.
