Overview

AI-generated overview

ActAs gives AI agents persistent identity, email, saved accounts and scoped credentials, available as a remote endpoint or a local npm package.

What you can do
  • No tool list is published. From the description, the server is meant to give an assistant a persistent identity of its own, an email address, saved accounts and scoped credentials it can use across sessions.
  • It can be reached either as a hosted remote endpoint or run locally through the npm package over stdio.
  • Access is tied to a private scoped connection file or a bearer token, so the assistant works within the permissions that connection grants.
When to use it
Consider it when you want an agent to keep a stable identity and its own email or saved accounts between sessions, and to act with credentials limited to a defined scope rather than your personal ones.
Requirements
A remote endpoint or a local Node.js runtime to run the npm package with npx. A scoped ActAs connection: either the absolute path to a private connection JSON file in ACTAS_CONNECTION_FILE, or a bearer token sent in the Authorization header, ideally stored in the MCP client's protected credential settings.
Before you install
The connection file and bearer token are credentials that grant access on the agent's behalf; keep the file private and store the token in protected credential settings. The server holds identity, email and saved accounts, so an agent using it may act as that identity. No tool list is published, so what it can read, send or change is not documented here.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open ActAs in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect Authorization token credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/dev.actas%2Faccounts/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

This server asks for a credential such as an API key, so SourceWeft could not read its tools without one and has not indexed them.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
