Before you install

The builders send requests to the Ensemble API, so your brand colors and preferences leave your machine. A Pro key is a paid subscription (monthly or yearly) and is stored in the ENSEMBLE_API_KEY environment variable. Ensemble MCP is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI agents access to professional design tools. Generate color palettes, pair typography, create shadow systems, and export complete design tokens - all through natural conversation.
