Overview

AI-generated overview

Lets an assistant read, create and edit noddle diagram boards, browse versions and post comments as an AI collaborator.

What it does
Connects an assistant to noddle diagram boards over a remote HTTP endpoint. It can read existing boards, create and edit diagrams, browse board versions, and add comments as an AI collaborator. Access is scoped by the token's permissions, so the assistant only reaches the boards, comments and AI features the token allows.
When to use it
Useful when diagram work happens in noddle and you want an assistant to draft, update or review boards without manual copying. Also fits teams that want an AI collaborator leaving comments on boards alongside human reviewers.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint at board.noddle.dev; nothing runs locally. A noddle agent token is required, sent in the Authorization header, created in noddle under Settings > API tokens with only the needed scopes (boards:read, boards:write, comments:read, comments:write, ai:invoke). Network access to the endpoint is needed.
Before you install
The Authorization header carries a noddle agent token, a secret that grants access to your boards; keep it out of logs and shared configs and revoke it if exposed. Grant only the scopes the agent needs, since write scopes let it change boards and post comments. Board content is sent to the remote service.
