Overview

AI-generated overview

Lets an assistant search and read public posts from Bluesky, Hacker News, Lobsters, Telegram channels and Mastodon tags for social listening and research.

What you can do
Provides eight read-only tools over public social and community sources: Bluesky keyword search, profile lookup and per-account feeds; Hacker News story and comment search plus full thread reading; Lobsters hot or newest stories; recent posts from a public Telegram channel; and recent posts under a Mastodon hashtag. Results include text, authors, timestamps, engagement counts and outbound links, with cursor pagination on some tools. Several tools are paid per successful call via x402 in USDC on Base.
When to use it
Useful for brand or topic monitoring, sentiment and community-reaction research, checking what Hacker News or Lobsters says about a product or library, verifying a Bluesky account, or following public Telegram and Mastodon channels. It suits research and listening tasks rather than posting or managing accounts.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no local runtime, account or API key is declared. Some tools require payment per successful call in USDC on Base via x402, so a compatible paying client or wallet setup is needed for those tools. Network access to the remote endpoint is required.
Before you install
Several tools are paid: bluesky_profile, bluesky_feed and lobsters_hot charge per successful call in USDC on Base via x402, so calls can spend real money. Only public data is returned, but queries and channel or tag names are sent to a third-party service. Treat results as third-party content and verify before relying on them.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open ScrapeMole Social in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/dev.pages.scrapemole%2Fsocial/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
