Remote MCP server that validates and repairs small CSV samples, normalizing dates and amounts and escaping spreadsheet formulas.
What you can do
Validate and repair a CSV sample of up to 20 data lines
Normalize date and amount formats in the data
Escape spreadsheet formulas so cells are not executed as formulas
Process samples without storing them
When to use it
Useful when you have a small, redacted CSV extract that looks malformed and want an assistant to check and clean it before importing elsewhere. It is a free sample-sized service, not a bulk data pipeline.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at api.rohnelt.dev; no package, account, API key or environment variable is declared. Network access is required.
Before you install
The free tier is limited to 20 data lines and the provider explicitly asks for synthetic or redacted data, so do not send real personal or confidential records. The tool description and instructions also promote a paid annual browser licence, which is a separate product.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/dev.rohnelt.api%2Fcsv-repair/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Free CSV validation and repair: up to 20 data lines, no storage. Normalizes dates and amounts and escapes spreadsheet formulas. Use synthetic/redacted data. Full local browser tool and annual licence: https://api.rohnelt.dev/csv-repair/?ref=mcp-csv
