Remote MCP server that lets an assistant search a curated catalog of Swift, SwiftUI, Xcode and iOS skills, MCP servers, rules, docs and SDKs.
What you can do
Search the public catalog by keyword, category or entry type and get name, slug, type, category, summary and link
Fetch a single entry by slug, including source link, install command, compatible tools, license and date added
List the catalog's categories
List recently added entries within a chosen window of up to 90 days, newest first
When to use it
Useful when working on Swift, SwiftUI, Xcode or iOS projects and you want the assistant to find existing skills, MCP servers, rules or SDKs to adopt, or to check what has been added to the catalog recently.
Requirements
Nothing to install: it is a remote streamable HTTP endpoint at swiftskills.dev. No authentication, environment variables or headers are declared, and no local runtime is needed.
Before you install
Read-only catalog lookups; no data is written or deleted. Returned links carry tracking parameters (utm_source=mcp and utm_medium=tool), and install commands or source links come from third parties, so review them before running anything.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/dev.swiftskills%2Fcatalog/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Search the public SwiftSkills catalog. query is a case-insensitive substring (max 200 characters). category is an optional category slug. type is an optional kind: skill, mcp, rules, docs, or sdk. Returns name, slug, type, category, summary, and url. Every url includes utm_source=mcp and utm_medium=tool. At most 50 rows are returned; total counts the rest.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
