Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Transica in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/dev.transica%2Ftransica/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

[Transica]

Transica MCP server

A remote MCP server with two free, read-only tools: an AI readiness scan for any public web page, and a ChatGPT and Claude directory-rules check for any public MCP server.

  • Server address: https://transica-mcp.transica.dev/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no sign-in)
  • MCP Registry: dev.transica/transica
  • Docs: https://transica.dev/docs/mcp

Transica builds a business's MCP app from its website or API, hosts it on the business's own domain, keeps its customers' existing sign-in, lists it in the ChatGPT and Claude directories and runs regular health checks. This server is the free part anyone can try.

Tools

ToolWhat it doesInput
scan_webpage_ai_readinessScores one public web page out of 100 for AI agent readiness, with the checks that passed and failed, the top fixes and a report linkurl
check_mcp_server_directory_rulesConnects to a public remote MCP server, reads its tool list without calling any tool, and checks it against the ChatGPT and Claude directory requirementsurl

Both tools only read public pages and servers, change nothing and need no account. Scans and checks run through the server aren't stored.

Add it

Claude

  1. Go to Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Select + Add, then Add custom connector.
  3. Enter the name Transica and the server address, then select Continue.
  4. Under Authentication, choose No sign in, then Add.

ChatGPT

  1. Open Plugins, select +, then Add custom MCP server.
  2. Enter the name Transica, paste the server address under Connection and choose no authentication.
  3. Tick I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin.

Claude Code

Cursor

{  "mcpServers": {    "transica": {      "url": "https://transica-mcp.transica.dev/mcp"    }  }}

Limits

  • One page or one server per call. Scans longer than about 12 seconds return running with the report link.
  • 5,000 scans and 5,000 checks a day across all users; the count resets at midnight UTC.
  • Public addresses only: private networks, localhost and pages behind a sign-in are refused.

Tools

scan_webpage_ai_readiness

Scan a webpage for AI readiness

Returns a readiness score, passed and failed checks, category results, top fixes, limitations, and a report link for one public webpage. Use it when someone asks whether a webpage is accessible and usable by AI agents; for checking an MCP server's directory compliance, use check_mcp_server_directory_rules instead. Pass url to scan the page directly, or use the reportUrl to revisit the detailed results.

check_mcp_server_directory_rules

Check MCP server directory rules

Returns server details, tool counts, directory-specific results, individual checks, and a full report link after connecting to a public remote MCP server and reading its tool list without calling tools. Use it when someone asks whether an MCP server meets ChatGPT or Claude directory requirements; for scanning a regular webpage's AI readiness, use scan_webpage_ai_readiness instead. Pass url as the public MCP server address to check its connection, sign-in, domain, and tool rules.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
