Read public videos (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X) as text. Pay per video with x402.
Overview
Local MCP server that lets an assistant read public TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and X videos as text, paying per video via x402.
- What you can do
- Read public videos from TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and X as text
- Pay per video through x402, either with a prepaid access token or a wallet
- No individual tools are listed in the manifest, so the exact operations are not documented here.
- When to use it
- Useful when an assistant needs the content of public social and video posts as text rather than video, and you are willing to pay per video or supply an access token.
- Requirements
- Runs as a local stdio process installed from the npm package vid2llm-mcp, on desktop only. Either a VID2LLM_API_TOKEN access token or a VID2LLM_PRIVATE_KEY wallet key for USDC payments on Base. VID2LLM_MAX_PRICE optionally caps the price per video (default $1). Network access to the video platforms and the payment service.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declared10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.

Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.
