Remote MCP server with Korean-language utilities: name and text romanization, Korean address to English, business number checks, and marketplace title cleanup.
What you can do
Romanize Korean personal names with common passport-style surname spellings and both name orders
Romanize arbitrary Hangul text using Revised Romanization with basic liaison rules
Convert Korean road-name addresses into English order and romanization for labels and forms
Validate and format 10-digit South Korean business registration numbers by checksum
Strip promotional noise from Coupang, Naver and Gmarket product titles before translation or matching
When to use it
Useful when an assistant handles Korean data: filling English forms or shipping labels from Korean names and addresses, transliterating Hangul text, pre-checking a business registration number's format, or cleaning marketplace product titles before translation or matching.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, account, API key or environment variable is declared. The server states free fair use of 1000 calls per day.
Before you install
Business number validation is checksum-only and does not confirm the business is active. The server states a paid tier (KRTools Pro, 19 USDC per month) for heavy use, so costs may apply beyond the free daily limit. Names and addresses submitted are sent to a third-party hosted service.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/dev.workers.deanhiki.krtools%2Fkorean-tools/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Romanize a Korean personal name (Hangul) the way it usually appears in passports/English docs: common surname spelling (김=Kim, 이=Lee, 박=Park, 2-syllable surnames like 남궁), given name joined and hyphenated, Western and Korean order. Free.
