Remote MCP server that lets an assistant generate static QR codes and 1-D barcodes as SVG, PNG or data URL, and inspect QR capacity.
What you can do
Generate static QR codes from text or a payload object, as SVG, PNG base64 or data URL, including small bulk batches.
Build and validate QR payload strings for text, URL, WiFi, vCard, mailto, tel, SMS and geo.
Inspect QR parameters such as version, error correction level, module count and capacity used, with quiet-zone and density warnings.
Generate Code 128, EAN-13, UPC-A or EAN-8 barcodes as SVG, PNG or data URL, adding or verifying EAN/UPC check digits.
When to use it
Useful when you need codes produced inside a chat or workflow without a local toolchain: QR codes for links, WiFi or contact cards, and barcodes for product labels or print assets. Also handy for checking whether a payload fits a QR code before generating it.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; nothing to install locally. An optional Authorization header with a bearer key raises rate limits, but the service works without a key.
Before you install
Codes are static only: no redirects, editable or dynamic codes, and no scan analytics. EAN/UPC output is format-valid but is not GS1 registration. Scannability is not guaranteed and depends on contrast, print size, quiet zone and reader. Payloads you submit, including WiFi passwords or contact details, are sent to the remote service.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/dev.workers.mike-tusa.qrmint%2Fqrmint/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Generate a static QR code as SVG (default, up to 2000 px), PNG base64 or data URL (up to 1024 px) from data or a payload object. Bulk (/v1/qr/bulk, ≤50) is SVG-only, ≤256 bytes per item. Static codes only: no redirects, no dynamic/editable codes, no scan analytics. EAN/UPC output is format-valid (check digit) and is NOT GS1 registration. Scannability is not guaranteed (contrast, print size, quiet zone and reader all matter).

Code 128, EAN-13, UPC-A or EAN-8 as SVG/PNG/data URL. EAN/UPC: pass digits without check digit to have it added, or with it to verify. Static codes only: no redirects, no dynamic/editable codes, no scan analytics. EAN/UPC output is format-valid (check digit) and is NOT GS1 registration. Scannability is not guaranteed (contrast, print size, quiet zone and reader all matter).
Build and validate a QR payload string for type text/url/wifi/vcard/mailto/tel/sms/geo (e.g. {"type":"wifi","ssid":"Cafe","password":"..."}). Returns the string only.
