A remote MCP server for business-day and public-holiday calculations across 29 countries, letting an assistant add business days, count them, and check holidays
What you can do
List supported countries, their regions and the supported year range (2020-2035). Retrieve public, bank and observance holidays for a country and year, with local names, types and source links. Check whether a date is a business day, with the reason and the previous and next business days. Add or subtract business days from a date, skipping weekends and holidays. Count business days between two dates, with business, weekend and holiday totals and the holidays in the range.
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs to schedule or plan around working days, such as setting deadlines, estimating delivery dates, or checking whether a date falls on a weekend or public holiday in a specific country and region.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no local runtime or package is needed. It works without a key; an optional Authorization header with a bearer key raises rate limits.
Before you install
All five tools are read-only and no data is written or changed. The optional Authorization header carries a secret key, so keep it out of shared logs. Requests go to a third-party hosted service, and usage is subject to its rate limits.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/dev.workers.mike-tusa.workdayapi%2Fworkdayapi/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
List the public (and optionally bank/observance) holidays for one country (and region) in one year, 2020-2035, with local names, types and official source links. Read-only. Same data, cache and limits as GET /v1/holidays.
