HTML string or https URL to markdown. x402 $0.005 USDC, Base. As is, no warranty.
Remote MCP server with one tool that converts an HTML string or a public https URL into tidy markdown, paid per call in USDC.
What you can do
Convert HTML to markdown: pass raw HTML or a public https URL and get back tidy markdown.
Fetch and convert a page: URL input is fetched server-side, restricted to https with private, local and non-http targets rejected, about a 1 MB body and a roughly 10 second timeout.
Handle both inputs: at least one of html or url is required; if both are given, the HTML is used and a warning is returned.
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs to turn a web page or an HTML fragment into clean markdown for summarising, quoting or storing, and you are willing to pay a small per-call fee in USDC instead of running a converter locally.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, account or API key is declared. Payment of $0.005 USDC per call on Base via x402 is required, so a compatible paying client or wallet setup is needed. Outbound network access to the endpoint.
Before you install
Each call costs $0.005 USDC on Base through x402, so usage spends real funds; check spending limits on the client. The URL you submit is fetched by a third-party server, which sees the requested address. The service is offered as is with no warranty.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/dev.workers.rainmaker-wells.well-004-html-to-markdown%2Fhtml-to-markdown/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Convert HTML to tidy markdown ($0.005 USDC via x402). Pass html (string) and/or url (public https to fetch). At least one required; if both, prefers html and warns. URL fetches use the same allowlist as WELL-002 (https only — http/file/data/localhost/private IPs rejected; 1 MB body, ~10s timeout, max 5 redirects). Returns JSON { source, url?, final_url?, content_type?, markdown, warnings }. As is, no warranty. Nothing stored.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
