Word .docx to text and tables. x402 $0.005 USDC, Base. As is, no warranty.
Remote MCP server with one tool that extracts text and tables from a Word .docx file, paid per call at $0.005 USDC via x402.
What you can do
Convert a .docx document to plain text, given a public https URL or base64-encoded file content
Return tables as [table N] placeholders within the extracted text
Reject non-https sources, including http, file, data, localhost and private IP addresses
Enforce limits of 10 MB per file, roughly 15 seconds, and at most 5 redirects
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs the text of a Word document that is reachable at a public https URL, or when a small paid per-call conversion is acceptable instead of local parsing. Not suited to private or local files, or to workflows that need full table structure.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no installation, account or API key is declared. The document must be reachable over public https, or supplied as base64. Payment of $0.005 USDC on Base per call through x402 is required.
Before you install
Each call costs $0.005 USDC on Base, so a wallet and spending are involved. The document content is sent to a third-party service. Only public https URLs are accepted, so private documents cannot be processed. Tables are reduced to placeholders, and the service is offered as is with no warranty.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/dev.workers.rainmaker-wells.well-010-docx-to-text%2Fdocx-to-text/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Extract text and tables from a Word .docx file ($0.005 USDC via x402). Input: a public https url to a .docx, or docx_base64. https only — http, file, data, localhost, and private IPs are rejected. Caps: 10 MB file, ~15s timeout, max 5 redirects. Tables appear as [table N] placeholders in text. Unicode dashes/minus signs normalized to '-'. Old binary .doc files are not supported. Returns JSON { file, url, final_url, type: 'docx', text, tables: [{ rows }], warnings }. As is, no warranty. Nothing stored.
