Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server that generates 1200x630 Open Graph social preview images from a title and tag line, and reports monthly quota.

What you can do
  • Generate a 1200x630 Open Graph image in PNG or SVG from a title and tag line, returned as image content plus a hosted render URL
  • Check the current monthly usage and plan limit for the authenticated key without consuming quota
When to use it
Useful when you need social preview or link-preview images for pages, posts or releases and want an assistant to produce them on demand without running image tooling locally.
Requirements
A remote endpoint reached over streamable HTTP; no local runtime or package. A bearer API key sent in the Authorization header is required; a demo key is mentioned for the free tier of 50 images per month. Network access is needed.
Before you install
The Authorization header carries a secret API key, so keep it out of logs and shared transcripts. Each generated image counts against the monthly unique-image quota, and the free tier is limited to 50 images per month. Generated images are hosted at a URL returned by the service, so image content is sent to a third party.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open oganvil — OG (Open Graph) Image Generation API in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect Authorization token credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/dev.workers.rowu.oganvil%2Fog-image-api/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
